Montgomery County Commissioner Reed Ingram confirms that all Montgomery County roads have been closed except to emergency vehicles.

Alabama Dept. of Transportation cautions that all driving should be avoided

MONTGOMERY – The Alabama Department of Transportation and the Department of Public Safety announce that conditions across much of Alabama are worsening to the point where many roadways are becoming impassable.

For as long as conditions will safely allow, ALDOT crews will continue efforts to keep roadways passable. ALDOT officials strongly caution that driving should be avoided until conditions have improved enough for safe travel.

For road closure and advisory information, please refer to the ALDOT Web site at www.dot.state.al.us. ALDOT’s Emergency Call Center has been activated to provide road closure and travel-related information. To reach the Call Center, dial 888-588-2848.
