Closure of Hall Street on ASU's campus next week

Closure of Hall Street on ASU's campus next week

On Monday (March 19), Hall Street on the campus of Alabama State University - between North University and the entrance to the ASU Life Science Building - will be closed through Friday, March 23.

We anticipate reopening the street on Saturday, March 24.

Traffic will be allowed to travel over the Hall Street bridge, which spans Interstate – 85, but it must use ASU's North University Drive and will not be allowed on Hall Street from North University to the ASU Life Science Building. In addition, traffic may travel through the Carter Hill entrance of ASU to Hall Street until it reaches the ASU Life Science Building, where Hall Street will be closed.

This closure is necessary to accommodate the installation of storm drains under the street for the ASU stadium project.

Thanks for your patience as Alabama State University moves forward with our transformation.
