All Piccadilly Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving

BATON ROUGE, La. (November 14, 2012) – All Piccadilly Restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving Day the company announced today. The Thanksgiving menu includes traditional classic such as turkey and gravy as well as Piccadilly favorites like macaroni and cheese and carrot soufflé.

“Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to celebrate family and traditions,” said Tom Sandeman CEO of Piccadilly Restaurants, LLC. “The Piccadilly family is excited to be a part of our guests’ holiday traditions.”

Piccadilly Restaurants is also offering a Holiday Feast To-Go with turkey or ham, dessert and all the trimmings which serves 10-14 guests. Junior Holiday Feasts are also available for smaller gatherings, and all of Piccadilly’s homestyle favorites and desserts are available à la carte.

The Commerce Street Soda Shop is partnering with The Muscular Dystrophy Association to raise money for the MDA Lock Up taking place on September 27th in Alley Station! Drue Fortune, one of the owners of Commerce Street Soda Shop will be "locked up" to serve time. So for the month of September, Commerce Street Soda Shop will be running a "Shake Things Up for the MDA" where part of the proceeds for ALL milkshake sales will go towards posting "bail" for Drue.

Hungry Howie’s has raised almost $500,000 for the foundation over the last three years. In this fourth year of the campaign, the goal is to raise more than $250,000.

In September, Mimi’s® invites you to warm your soul and the hearts of those in need by purchasing delicious “Soup To-Go.”  Guests can enjoy one of Mimi’s famous soups for $5 or $6 by the quart container and know that a portion of the proceeds supports local hunger relief efforts.

Mimi’s 145 restaurants support over 100 local nonprofit organizations in their communities. The “Soup To-Go” program has raised more than $66,000 since its launch five months ago.  Mimi’s also donates prepared food to these same agencies through Food Donation Connection’s Harvest program.

Winston Salem, NC (August 27, 2012)  At 6 am on August 28, residents of Montgomery, Alabama and surrounding communities are invited to a grand re-opening celebration for the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Factory, 5474 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36109. Re-opening activities include sweet prizes for the first dozen guests in line. Renovations include newly installed 24-hour drive-thru and expanded lobby seating area.
