Huntingdon's Crawford and Pickens named All-Conference | People

Huntingdon senior Morgan Crawford and sophomore Patricia Pickens were named All-Conference by the Great South Athletic Conference on Thursday.
 
This is Crawford’s second All-Conference selection in two seasons. Pickens was named to the All-Freshman team last season. The All-Academic teams and Sportsmanship Award winners were not released on Thursday.
 
“We’re proud of Morgan and Pat. They’ve both earned this recognition,” Huntingdon women’s basketball coach Buzz Phillips said. “There is no doubt that both of them are two of the top players in the conference. They’re both difference makers for us.”
 
Crawford is Huntingdon’s second-leading scorer this season with 12.1 points per game and leads the Lady Hawks with 132 assists and 83 steals. Crawford leads the GSAC in assists and is second in steals.
 
Pickens is Huntingdon’s leading scorer with 12.8 points per game and is second on the team with 7.5 rebounds per game. Pickens is sixth in the GSAC in scoring and fifth in rebounding.
