The 19th annual Buckmasters Expo starts today | News

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA)- Preparations are underway for the start of the 19th annual Buckmasters Expo in Montgomery.  Buckmasters is the largest hunting exhibition in the Southeast and it's expected to draw tens of thousands of people to the Renaissance Hotel downtown this weekend.

The convention center has been transformed into a hunter's paradise.  Over 300 booths will showcase the very latest in hunting products and technology.

In addition to all the vendors, there will be kids activities like archery and target simulators.  Other activities include hunter education, deer scoring and display, hunting Q & A and more.

The Expo will also feature Troy, Jacob and Chase Landry from the TV show Swamp People and the Buckmasters Top Bow Indoor World Championship.  Plus, Clay Walker will be in concert on Saturday night.

Admission is just a can of food per person.  It's part of the organization's goal of giving back and helping those in need.
