MONTGOMERY, AL – The Montgomery Clean City Commission is pleased to announce that the 2013 Telephone Book Recycling Drive is now in full swing.  If you need more than 25 books collected call the MCCC at 625-2175 and we will contact a group to pick them up.

Seven youth groups will be collecting telephone books as a fund raiser.  Boy Scout troops, church groups and cheerleaders are responsible for collecting the books and will receive a cash amount based on total poundage collected.  Thanks to YP Project ReDirectory’s continued support of this program we are able to reward these groups for their hard work.  Since the inception of this program, and with the help of many generous donations, Montgomery Clean City Commission has been able to give more than $93,000 to youth groups throughout the city for their efforts.
