Montgomery Regional Airport to honor Tuskegee Airmen | Events

Montgomery Regional Airport (Dannelly Field) will honor four of the original Tuskegee airmen when they land in Montgomery on Friday, September 14 at 5:15pm. Airport and civic officials will initially greet the airmen before a military contingent from Maxwell AFB escorts the airmen to the first level reception area where they will then depart for a tour of the Tuskegee airfield where they received flight training during World War Two and later became part of the famed “Red Tail” fighter group.  The public and media are cordially invited to join us as we pay tribute to these patriots and recognize their dedication and service to our country.  Free parking will be available for this event.  Please plan to assemble in the terminal’s first level reception area by 5:00pm.
