MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA)- This past Thursday, Governor Robert Bentley announced the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) has approved $12.6 million for three pilot projects.
The projects are designed to restore some of Alabama’s natural resources that were affected by the 2010 Deepwater Horizon explosion and oil spill.
The projects are funded from initial investments of funds obtained from the settlement of criminal charges against BP and Transocean.
